OVERCOMING MURPHY - LAW THAT IS (Colossians 2)

Colossians 2: 4 I am telling you this so that no one will be able to deceive you with persuasive arguments. ⁸ Don't let anyone lead you astray with hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.   ¹⁷For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself.   ²⁰You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the evil powers of this world.  ² My purpose is that you

I. Overcome Discouragement 

may be encouraged in heart and

II. Overcome Fractured Emotions  

united in love,

III. Overcome Mindless Misadventures

⁷rooted and built up in him, strengthened

IV. Overcome Cynicism & Grumpiness  

and overflowing with thankfulness.  so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,  in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
