THE MAGNITUDE OF "AS"
Matthew 6: 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. I. Forgive AS ā LAY DOWN
I John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
II. Forgive AS ā CANCEL / RECONCILE
Colossians 2:14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, ā¦.. by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
III. Forgive AS - PLEASING
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of Godās mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godāthis is your true and proper worship
IV. Forgive AS - MANNA
Psalm 78:24 He rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven
