THE GIFT (Mark 10)

Mark 10:13 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, 

I. Don’t Hinder: Jesus Needs Greeters Not Gate Keepers

but the disciples rebuked them.

II. Be Indigent: Get Mad About Leaving Others Out

¹⁴When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them,

III. Receive: Entrance into The Kingdom Is Received Not Achieved

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. ¹⁵I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." ¹⁶And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.   ^{Mark 9:37} He said to them, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."
